We are a trans-disciplinary team from the Schools of Applied Communication, Architecture and Design and Creative Media.

Our approach to addressing these questions is informed by design theory, ethnographic, sociological and phenomenological studies of domestic and urban space, and notions of place. This exhibition is the outcome of our pilot project, in which we devised and tested self-documentation kits which capture how, when and where media devices are used in our own homes.
